Using cash rewards as an incentive, they then induce users to make deposits and withdrawals through so-called virtual wallets. The Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited urges the public to be wary of suspicious phone calls, websites, or other communications, and to report to the police as soon as possible if they suspect they have been deceived.
