Iran announces initial response to the US: striking 85 important US military facilities

In the early hours of today, its military launched airstrikes on several coastal bases and civilian facilities in the Hormozgan province and the coastal area of Mahshahr, in a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement and an affront to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.

As an initial response to this act of aggression, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' navy and aerospace forces carried out a joint missile and drone operation, destroying 85 important US military facilities located at Salman Port, the Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain, and the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.
