Iranian military warns U.S. not to intervene in the Strait of Hormuz, or face a devastating response

Odaily Planet Daily News The Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters of Iran's Supreme Joint Military Command said on Wednesday that Iran's armed forces will make a "devastating response" to the U.S. military. This comes after Iran accused the U.S. military of launching strikes against parts of southern Iran, calling it "an act of blatant aggression" and warning that Tehran will not allow the U.S. to intervene in the management of the Strait of Hormuz. The command stated that the only safe passage for merchant ships and oil tankers through the waterway is the route determined by Iran.

The U.S. military launched a new round of strikes against Iran on Tuesday and, after three oil tankers were hit by projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz, revoked a license allowing Iran to export oil, further pressuring an already fragile ceasefire agreement.
