Du Jun reveals investment details of Metagent, stating that the team failed to provide complete financial and operational information

Odaily Planet Daily News: Du Jun, co-founder of ABCDE Capital, further disclosed investment details in a post on platform X, stating that in February 2024, the first investment of $500,000 was paid to Metagent, founded by Li Bojie. The subsequent $1 million investment will be decided based on project progress and agreed conditions in the agreement. Du Jun mentioned that the Demo shown by the Metagent team in June 2024 did not meet expectations. Combined with project progress, communication status, and feedback from other investment institutions, concerns arose regarding the project's execution capabilities. He also stated that since July 2024, Li Bojie has basically stopped responding to investor communications, and in December of the same year, indicated via email that he had left Metagent due to insufficient company funds. However, the team has never provided complete financial statements and operational information to the investors.
