Former Polymarket team member says POLY token won't launch soon, may take a long time

Odaily reported that in response to a community user analysis suggesting Polymarket might launch the POLY token in Q4 of this year (or in 2028), former Polymarket team member Greg said, "The POLY token won't launch anytime soon, and it may take a very long time." Additionally, Greg noted that Polymarket's early promotion of the token was entirely a commercial marketing tactic, but he has since deleted the tweet in which he made that statement.
