Multiple US tech companies tighten AI spending, Tesla restricts employee AI usage costs

According to reports, Tesla has sent an internal memo to employees, announcing that starting July 6, each employee's weekly spending on AI tools will be capped at $200, and any excess must be approved by a supervisor. However, Tesla employees' use of Musk's xAI's Grok model will not count towards the $200 limit.
