BOE A Shares Surge Over 7%, Stock Price Hits New High Since 2009

Odaily News BOE A shares surged over 7% today, with trading volume exceeding 140 billion RMB, and the stock price hitting a new high since 2009. Since the start of this rally in late May, the company's stock price has accumulated a gain of approximately 60%.

It is understood that one of the catalysts for this rally was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between BOE and Corning on May 20. The two parties will collaborate in areas such as glass-based package carrier boards, foldable glass, perovskite glass substrates, and optical interconnects.

Additionally, BOE's 8.6th-generation AMOLED production line, built with an investment of 63 billion RMB, has already achieved mass production by mid-2026. Targeting the medium-sized OLED market, this production line is expected to begin contributing significant profits in 2027.
