According to the latest reports, ByteDance is discussing investing up to approximately $70 billion in capital expenditure for data centers and AI infrastructure in 2026, with part of the funds coming from its estimated $50 billion profit in 2025; in a more aggressive internal plan, there has been discussion about further pushing the 2027 capital expenditure to a magnitude of $89 billion to $100 billion.
