Fortune Magazine: One-third of employers are using AI to replace entry-level positions
Odaily Planet Daily News: A recent corporate recruiter survey released by GMAC shows that one-third of employers say they are using AI to replace entry-level positions. The survey interviewed over 600 recruiters globally, with more than half recruiting for Fortune 100 or Fortune 500 companies.
Data indicates that technology positions face the highest risk, with 40% of employers in this industry saying AI is replacing entry-level roles, followed by the manufacturing sector. Additionally, the median starting salary for graduates with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is expected to drop from $125,000 in 2025 to $120,000 this year. Despite changes in the recruitment market, employers still have strong demand for graduates who possess human skills such as communication, problem-solving, and adaptability, along with AI proficiency and technical abilities.
