Crypto sector declines for three consecutive days, BTC briefly dips below $60,000

Odaily Planet Daily News According to SoSoValue data, the crypto market has declined for three consecutive days. The Meme sector dropped significantly by 13.75% in 24 hours. Within this sector, MemeCore (M) fell by 67.51%, and Pump.fun (PUMP) dropped by 10.90%. The NFT sector decreased by 9.99%, with Audiera (BEAT), which surged yesterday, falling by 22.63%.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) dropped by 3.36%, briefly dipping below $60,000 during trading; Ethereum (ETH) fell by 3.35% to around $1,600.

In other sectors, the CeFi sector declined by 2.33% in 24 hours, with NEXO (NEXO) falling by 3.59%; the PayFi sector dropped by 3.18%, with Dash (DASH) declining by 7.82%; the Layer1 sector decreased by 3.07%, but Gram (GRAM) bucked the trend and rose by 1.46%; the Layer2 sector fell by 3.46%, but Optimism (OP) increased by 3.83%.

Additionally, the DeFi sector performed strongly, rising by 1.69%, with Hyperliquid (HYPE) up by 2.04%, o1.exchange (O) surging by 35.42%, and LAB (LAB) increasing by 19.60%.

Reflecting the historical performance of these sectors, the crypto sector index shows that the ssiSocialFi index rose by 1.09%, the ssiDeFi index increased by 0.25%, while the ssiMeme index dropped by 17.69%.
