Morgan Stanley Updates Ethereum and Solana ETF Filings, Plans to Charge 0.14% Fee
Financial services company Morgan Stanley submitted an amended S-1 filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday, updating its Ethereum and Solana ETF applications and planning to charge a 0.14% fee for both products.
Currently, the lowest fee among U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs is the Grayscale Ethereum Staking Mini ETF at 0.15%; among spot Solana ETFs, the Franklin Solana ETF has a fee of 0.19%. Morgan Stanley's latest filing also shows that Figment, Galaxy Blockchain Infrastructure, and Coinbase Canada will provide staking services for the two ETFs, with each fund charging a 5% staking fee on rewards generated by the products.
The Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust intends to use the ticker MSSE, and the Morgan Stanley Solana Trust intends to use the ticker MSOL. (Cointelegraph)
