Pakistan's Foreign Minister: No tolls will be charged in the Strait of Hormuz within 60 days
According to comprehensive reports from Saudi media, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Dar stated during a quadrilateral meeting involving Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan that within the 60-day period, (Iran) will not block ships from passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and no tolls will be levied in the Strait. Whether it is a "toll" or a "service fee," nothing will be charged in the Strait of Hormuz. For the first time in 47 years, Pakistan successfully brought the United States and Iran together (for dialogue).
Pakistan has worked closely with its partners and allies to ensure the success of its mediation efforts. A war between the United States and Iran would be devastating, with negative economic impacts. Currently, three technical teams are involved in US-Iran negotiations. The technical committee is discussing nuclear issues, frozen funds, and the situation in Lebanon. Additionally, Dar stated that he has briefed the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey on the memorandum of understanding. (Jinshi)
