Iran: One-Day Switzerland Talks, Lebanon Ceasefire to Be Core Agenda

Odaily Planet Daily News According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Baghaei stated that the conference in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, will last for one day, and a quadrilateral meeting involving Iran, the United States, Qatar, and Pakistan will be held in the afternoon. Today's meeting serves as a follow-up on the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding reached with the United States. The United States has failed to secure a ceasefire in Lebanon, and this issue will become the core agenda of the Switzerland talks. The meeting will also discuss other topics, including exemptions for Iranian oil sales and the unfreezing of Iran's frozen assets. (Jin Shi)
