OKX Star: Company Culture is Shaped by Long-Term Results, and Employees Are Not Encouraged to Seek Quick Wealth through Cryptocurrency Trading as a Career Goal
Odaily Planet Daily News: OKX founder and CEO Star posted on X platform: "OKX's corporate culture has always included customer first, innovation, pragmatism, openness and transparency, and providing opportunities and resources. A company's culture is not defined by slogans but is shaped by talent, products, values, and long-term results.
To this day, at OKX, we have many veteran colleagues who have been with us for 5 years or even close to 10 years and continue to learn and progress. We also have many new colleagues from other industries or competitors who bring fresh perspectives and progressive ideas.
Many colleagues with experience at competitor companies have reported that OKX's overall compensation package and long-term incentive level is higher than many of its competitors. Recently, a colleague from the business team has been with us for four years, consistently managing long-term incentives within the company without cashing out. Upon recent redemption, they received a return of several million US dollars. We are proud of cases like this.
However, OKX does not encourage employees to view cryptocurrency trading and getting rich quickly as their career vision. Instead, we promote a model that combines substantial short-term cash incentives with long-term incentives. Some individuals who are consumed by the desire for quick wealth cannot accept OKX's internal systems, such as the prohibitions on issuing tokens, insider trading, and accepting bribes. Meanwhile, competitors may offer attractive conditions to these individuals, prompting them to join. We also wish these colleagues well.
We have also seen many cases where individuals attracted by short-term gains to join competitors quickly lose their value and are unceremoniously shown the door. Every company has its own characteristics. We welcome all legal forms of competition and will also vigorously combat any actions that violate the law and professional ethics.
Either way, we are always proud when former OKX colleagues continue to demonstrate their talents at other companies. At the same time, we will continue to create industry-leading compensation, an open and transparent culture, generous incentive mechanisms, and a professional platform for long-term career development for our current colleagues."
