Iran announces new regulations for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, vessels must submit applications 48 hours in advance

Odaily Planet Daily News: Iran's "Persian Gulf Strait Authority" stated that, in light of the signing of the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding and instructions from relevant authorities, vessels that submit passage applications within the announced timeframe in accordance with regulations and meet the relevant conditions will be arranged for passage. According to the passage requirements, transit applications must be submitted at least 48 hours before arriving at the Strait of Hormuz area.
