Japanese and Korean stock indices opened higher

According to Gate data, the Nikkei 225 index opened up 372.55 points, or 0.52%, at 71,426.04 on Friday, June 19. The Korea KOSPI index opened up 231.44 points, or 2.55%, at 9,295.28 on Friday, June 19. Samsung Electronics shares rose 3%.
