Trump: The US Helped Intel in Exchange for a 10% Stake, Currently Worth Over $60 Billion

Odaily Planet Daily News: U.S. President Trump stated in a social media post that the U.S. needs to bring the semiconductor industry back to the country, and therefore decided to help Intel in exchange for a 10% stake. Trump claimed that the U.S. pushed for cooperation between NVIDIA, Elon Musk's TerraFab, and Apple with Intel to design and manufacture chips in the U.S. He said that when the U.S. put forward the relevant proposal, Intel's valuation was approximately $100 billion, and it has now exceeded $600 billion, making the value of the U.S. government's stake over $60 billion.
