Fed Dot Plot: 9 Officials Expect Rate Hikes in 2026

Odaily Planet Daily News: According to the Fed's dot plot, out of 19 officials, only 18 submitted their dot plot projections. Among the 18 officials, 1 believes rates should be cumulatively raised by 75 basis points for the remainder of 2026, 5 officials believe they should be raised by 50 basis points, 3 officials believe they should be raised by 25 basis points, 8 officials believe rates should remain unchanged, and 1 official believes rates should be cumulatively cut by 25 basis points.
