Thetanuts Responds to Security Incident: Affected Vault is an Abandoned Contract, Unrelated to Existing Products

Odaily planet daily news DeFi structured protocol Thetanuts Finance has issued a response regarding a security incident involving its Vault. According to preliminary investigations, the relevant Vault is an old version contract that was deprecated and migrated several years ago, and is not related to any currently operating contracts or products. The investigation is still ongoing, and a full post-mortem report will be released after more information is obtained.

Previously, it was reported that Thetanuts Finance was suspected of being attacked, with initial estimates of losses amounting to approximately $2.1 million.
