Liu Ren, a key member of the Chen Zhi criminal syndicate, repatriated to China under escort

Odaily Planet Daily News: A working group dispatched by the Ministry of Public Security has successfully repatriated Liu Ren, a key member of the Chen Zhi criminal syndicate, from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, back to China under escort. Investigation reveals that in 2016, Chen Zhi directed Liu Ren and others to establish the Golden Group in Cambodia, operating multiple online gambling platforms. Since 2020, the Golden Group has been running telecom fraud parks in Cambodia, extensively committing telecom and online fraud crimes, involving an exceptionally large amount of money. Additionally, Liu Ren is suspected of serious violent crimes such as illegal detention and intentional injury. Liu Ren has now been placed under compulsory measures in accordance with the law, and the related cases are under further investigation. (Red Star News)
