Japanese and South Korean stock markets opened lower

Odaily reported that according to Gate data, the Korea KOSPI index opened down 106.53 points, or 1.22%, at 8,620.07 points on Wednesday, June 17.
The Nikkei 225 index opened down 381.75 points, or 0.55%, at 69,022.75 points on Wednesday, June 17.
