Iranian Media: Iran Will Only Take Corresponding Steps If the U.S. Fulfills Its Obligations

Odaily Planet Daily News According to Iranian media Fars News, informed sources revealed that during its review of the recent memorandum of understanding, Iran's Supreme National Security Council passed the resolution based on a precise and step-by-step "interpretive theory." This theory emphasizes the history of the United States' breach of trust and violation of agreements, and designs specific implementation arrangements to address any delays or violations. It is reported that in this "interpretive theory," for each obligation of the other party, Iran has set a corresponding "implementation step." In other words, the Council's resolution is based on the principle of step-by-step and conditional implementation, meaning Iran will only take corresponding reciprocal measures upon the actual and complete fulfillment of each U.S. obligation. Otherwise, if any terms are not realized, Iran's corresponding steps (including suspending the fulfillment of corresponding obligations) will be activated immediately. (Jin Shi)
