According to data from MSX.COM, the US stock market sectors for memory chips and optical communications collectively rose. Seagate Technology and Western Digital gained over 9%, Micron Technology gained over 7%, SanDisk gained over 5%, while Marvell Technology, Coherent, Qualcomm, and AMD all gained over 4%. Intel gained over 3%. SpaceX gained over 6%, following a surge of over 19% on its first trading day last Friday.
