US stock market capitalization-to-GDP ratio rises to 238%, hitting an all-time high

According to Odaily, The Kobeissi Letter posted on Platform X stating that the ratio of US stock market capitalization to GDP has risen to a record high of 238%. The current total market value of stocks stands at $75.7 trillion, far exceeding the economic scale of approximately $31.8 trillion.
Since the S&P 500 bottomed out on March 30, this ratio has increased by 38 percentage points, and is 90 percentage points higher than the peak of roughly 148% during the 2000 internet bubble. Since the 2008 financial crisis, the growth rate of the US stock market has been five times that of the underlying economy.
