Deputy Finance Minister of Russia: Russian Citizens Have Opened Approximately 10 Million Wallets on Foreign Crypto Infrastructure

According to Odaily, Ivan Chebeskov, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, stated at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that, based on communication with some foreign cryptocurrency exchanges, Russian citizens have opened approximately 10 million cryptocurrency wallets on foreign crypto infrastructure. Ivan Chebeskov added that although this data has not yet been fully confirmed, it demonstrates the scale of Russian citizens' participation in using these tools, and it is currently difficult to calculate the total amount of funds held by Russian citizens in cryptocurrencies.
