U.S. Media: Codex’s Weekly Active Users Exceeds 4 Million, Knowledge Workers Account for About One-Fifth

Odaily Planet Daily News According to an AXIOS report, based on a new report from OpenAI, knowledge workers now account for about one-fifth of OpenAI's Codex users, and their growth rate is more than three times that of the developer group. According to the company, Codex currently has over 4 million weekly active users, a figure that has grown more than five-fold since OpenAI launched the desktop application in February. Among knowledge workers, the fastest-growing task type is data analysis, with a week-over-week increase of 110%; research work grew by 37%; and knowledge asset-related tasks grew by 36%. Currently, over 60% of users are simultaneously engaged in more than one Codex task during a given time period, a significant increase from less than half in mid-April.
