Sources: OPEC+ to increase production by approximately 188,000 barrels per day in July
Odaily Planet Daily News According to three sources, OPEC+ oil-producing countries are likely to agree at Sunday's meeting to further increase crude oil production quotas in July. However, the Iran war has so far caused some countries to fail to meet previous production increase targets. If production quotas are raised again, it will indicate that the organization is gradually returning to normal operations, despite numerous disruptions caused by the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and the unexpected withdrawal of the UAE in May. According to sources, OPEC+ is expected to increase production by about 188,000 barrels per day in July, the same magnitude as the increase agreed upon in June, which was previously revised down from 206,000 barrels per day due to the UAE's withdrawal.
