US stocks: Quantum computing concept and AI application software sectors broadly rally, Dell surges 35% at market open

According to data from MSX.COM, US-listed quantum computing concept stocks rose, with ServiceNow up over 8% and IBM up over 4%; Oracle gained over 2%.

Dell shares surged 35% at the market open, marking its largest single-day gain since 2024; multiple investment banks have doubled their target prices for the stock.

AI application software stocks also rallied broadly at the open, with Asana jumping over 15%, Atlassian climbing over 7%, MongoDB and Salesforce rising over 5%, and Palantir and Workday gaining nearly 4%.
