Zhou accepted the verdict and the judgment has now taken effect. By exploiting website security vulnerabilities, Zhou illegally gained control over more than 150 servers between August 2023 and June 2025, causing links generated by these servers to automatically redirect to overseas pornographic websites. He then resold access rights for profit, affecting 157 government, enterprise, and well-known app platforms.

Zhou's illegal gains were all settled in virtual currencies such as USDT and TRX, and were scattered and hidden across multiple crypto wallets.
