The market expects the April PCE year-over-year increase to be 3.8%, compared to the previous value of 3.5%; the core PCE annual rate is expected to be 3.3%. The CME's "FedWatch" tool shows that the market expects interest rates to remain unchanged in June, with the probability of a rate hike increasing before the end of the year. Goldman Sachs expects core PCE to remain around 3% in 2026, with overall inflation this year below 4%.
