According to Gate data, U.S. and Brent crude oil prices briefly declined, with WTI crude now falling over 5% to $91.4 per barrel, and Brent crude falling about 4% to $92.6 per barrel.
The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) has fallen below the 99 mark, down 0.15% intraday. The New Zealand dollar against the U.S. dollar (NZD/USD) has broken through 0.59, up 1.09% intraday.
Spot gold surged $30 in the short term to $4,457 per ounce.
