According to Odaily, Gate data shows that the Nikkei 225 index opened up 883.50 points, or 1.36%, at 65,879.59 points on Wednesday, May 27. The KOSPI index opened up 195.89 points, or 2.43%, at 8,243.4 points on Wednesday, May 27.
