Rubio: The Strait of Hormuz Must Remain Open No Matter What

Odaily reported that Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State who concluded his visit to India, told the media today (May 26) when commenting on the U.S. military's so-called "self-defense strikes" early this morning on multiple locations in southern Iran, that the Strait of Hormuz "must remain open no matter what." Rubio stated, "The strait must remain open. It will open in some way eventually. It must open." He also indicated that negotiations on the wording of a potential agreement with Iran might take "a few more days."
