Iranian Lawmaker: Iran Has “Never Left the Negotiation Table”

Odaily Planet Daily News: According to Iranian sources on the 19th, a member of the Iranian parliament stated in an interview that Iran has never initiated a war nor left the negotiation table. The lawmaker also stated that negotiations should be based on respect and recognition of the legitimate rights of the Iranian people. He said he does not want the country to enter a state of war, as war would damage infrastructure and the people; however, if war and confrontation occur, Iran has the capability to respond with equal or even greater force.（CCTV）
