US President Considering 250 Pardons; Crypto Defendants Seeking Clemency

Odaily Planet Daily News The White House is reportedly considering issuing 250 presidential pardons to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and is currently weighing announcing the plan on either June 14 or July 4.
Several defendants in the cryptocurrency space are seeking executive clemency, among them Sam Bankman-Fried and Roger Ver. The US President has already issued over 1,600 pardons and commutations during his second term. Previously, Ross Ulbricht, the founders of BitMEX, and Binance founder Changpeng Zhao received pardons. The White House has stated that there are currently no plans to pardon Sam Bankman-Fried. (financefeeds)
