Spot gold edges up in the short term, New York silver futures rise over 3% intraday

Odaily reported that according to Gate data, spot gold edged up approximately $25 in the short term, now trading at $4,689.56 per ounce. New York silver futures rose over 3.00% intraday, now trading at $83.30 per ounce. Spot silver stood above $82 per ounce, rising over 2% intraday.
