Odaily reported that CZ stated on the latest episode of the Crypto Banter podcast that during his clemency request process, he encountered strong opposition and lobbying from some US centralized cryptocurrency exchange competitors.
CZ said, "Other US cryptocurrency CEXs did not want me to receive clemency," and indicated that these competitors had applied lobbying pressure during the relevant US procedures.
