Jensen Huang indicated that next-generation AI infrastructure will require a large amount of optical connections, as computing demands are growing so rapidly that copper wires can no longer suffice. "We are going to expand the application of optical technology on an unprecedented scale. Frankly speaking, no optical company has ever had such a scale," said Huang.
