Gold rises to $4,565, volatility decreases, crude oil retreats

The latest quote for BVIX (BTC Volatility Index) is 41.40, a daily decrease of 1.43%. The latest quote for EVIX (ETH Volatility Index) is 59.04, a daily increase of 0.92%.
In the forex market, the US dollar against the offshore Chinese yuan (USD/CNH) fell 0.05% on the day, with the current exchange rate at 6.84272. The US dollar against the Japanese yen (USD/JPY) fell 0.18% on the day, with the current exchange rate at 160.142.
In terms of global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 index (EUSTX50) fell 0.75% on the day to 5,789.75 points; the UK FTSE 100 index (UK100) rose 0.14% on the day to 10,210.64 points; the German DAX40 index (GER40) rose 0.24% on the day to 23,894.85 points.
