U.S. Media: Iran Open to Negotiations with U.S. but Insists on Its Uranium Enrichment Rights

Odaily reported that, according to The Wall Street Journal, a senior Iranian diplomat stated that Iran is open to negotiations with the United States but will not abandon its uranium enrichment activities. Iran's ambassador to India, Mohammad Fattali, posted on social media on Saturday: "Negotiations can only achieve appropriate results when our adversaries recognize our country's right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy." The report states that the U.S. is currently seeking to have Iran suspend its uranium enrichment program for up to 20 years. (Jin Shi)
