Swiss Regulator Says Mythos Could Pose a Financial Risk

Odaily Planet Daily News The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) stated that allowing banks to quickly and easily access Anthropic's AI tool Mythos would pose a serious risk to the country's financial system. A spokesperson for the agency said: "The uncontrolled and immediate availability of AI models like Mythos will be considered a systemic risk. In such a scenario, almost all existing software systems could simultaneously be affected by a large number of previously unknown zero-day vulnerabilities, which would be exploited immediately and enabled by artificial intelligence."
