Aave pauses rsETH reserve operations on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and other networks to prevent liquidation risks from escalating

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Aave posted the latest update on the rsETH security incident on Platform X, stating that it has paused rsETH reserve-related operations on the Ethereum mainnet and networks such as Arbitrum, Base, Mantle, and Linea to prevent excess aETHrsETH from being withdrawn, thereby pushing positions close to the 95% liquidation threshold. This measure aims to preserve as much capital as possible and reduce systemic risk while the asset recovery plan is being advanced. Aave stated that subsequent developments and resolution plans will be continuously disclosed to the community.
