Mastercard Joins Blockchain Security Standards Council, to Develop Security Frameworks with Coinbase and Others

Odaily Planet Daily News Mastercard has joined the Blockchain Security Standards Council (BSSC) as a charter-level member, and will work with institutions such as Coinbase, Fireblocks, Anchorage Digital, and BitGo to develop security frameworks for blockchain networks and tokenized assets.

Mastercard will also participate in working groups related to security and privacy guidelines, with Claire Le Gal, head of its security solutions division, representing the company on the BSSC board. The BSSC stated that Mastercard's experience in the payments field will help improve blockchain security rules. (BeInCrypto)
