HTX Ventures, the global investment arm of cryptocurrency exchange Huobi HTX, has announced a strategic investment in ChainML, a Silicon Valley-based AI and machine learning R&D lab that has just launched its innovative proxy base layer, Theoriq.
ChainML successfully raised $6.2 million in a super seed round led by Hack VC. This financing shows people's confidence and expectation in ChainML's vision, which is to revolutionize the field of artificial intelligence by seamlessly integrating AI into the decentralized blockchain world. ChainML provides an open innovation platform through Theoriq, building a unique ecosystem based on composability, scalability and community-driven governance principles to help deploy advanced AI agents supported by Web3 technology, ensuring transparency, security and efficiency.
Theoriq is based on the principles of social evolution and built with blockchain technology, laying the foundation for continuously improving, community-governed AI systems.
Key features include:
- Agent primitives: Foundational elements of the ecosystem that facilitate autonomous interactions, embody roles, behaviors, and functions, and directly enhance the ability of agents to operate independently.
- Modular composition: Allows developers to create customized AI solutions that can be combined and recombined as needed to build complex systems that can evolve and adapt over time.
- Community-permissioned governance: Ensure that decision-making power is shared among a diverse community of stakeholders who actively participate and provide feedback on the quality of AI agents, thereby ensuring that the technology is aligned with collective goals and values.
“ChainML’s Theoriq platform provides a practical solution for AI agents, giving them greater autonomy and capabilities,” said Alex Toretto, Managing Partner at HTX Ventures. “This platform paves the way for the future of AI and we are excited to be a part of it.”
“Today is a pivotal moment for ChainML and the broader AI and Web3 community,” said Ron Bodkin, co-founder and CEO of ChainML. “With Theoriq, we are not just launching a product, but rather catalyzing a movement to build a transparent, community-governed AI ecosystem. HTX Ventures’ support will help us realize new potential for AI integration in the decentralized space.”
HTX Ventures is very much looking forward to supporting innovative projects like ChainML that combine AI development with blockchain to discover new synergies. This summer, users can experience Theoriq by joining the testnet waitlist.
