This article is based on the views of encrypted KOL zachxbt on personal social media platforms, and BlockBeats organizes and translates them as follows:
Recently, I conducted a survey on JC, a member of the Treasure team, and found that he used the TreasureDAO platform to conduct multiple soft rug pulls.
Below is a graph I made of JC's ENS domain and all of its important transactions, let's see what it does.
JC is the front-end developer of TreasureDAO, and everyone calls him Jcheese in Discord. After investigation, I identified his ENS domain name - justcheese.eth (holding address "0xc9"), which was transferred from "0x16" to "0xc9" on June 10, 2021.
The reason why we can confirm that "0x16" is also JC is because he shared this address in an announcement on Discord.
There are two addresses that have key interactions with "0x16":
First 100 ETH from the Mutant Cats contract on 10/04/21
Followed by "0x1d", this address transferred 34.66 ETH to "0x16" on October 2.
Let me explain what went wrong:
First up is this 100 ETH transfer. The issuance of Mutant Cats brought a total of 500 ETH to the team (9999 MC, the minting price is 0.05 ETH), and JC received 100 ETH from the contract. But after mint, the team came to a soft rug, first disappeared for a long time, and then came out every once in a while to say a few words, and then gradually gave up the project.
But fortunately, the community of Mutant Cats is very united, and the project has been achieved by itself, and the transaction volume of MC has also entered the top 100 of OpenSea.
Now let's take a look at the composition of the transfer of 34.66 ETH:
a. Received 15 ETH from ZombieToadz (another soft rug) on October 1
b. Received 6 ETH from an altcoin scammer on October 2
c. Received 14 ETH from TreasureDAO Lianchuang Yuta/YYYY on October 2
d. The rest comes from tism.eth
Like Mutant Cats, ZombieToadz is another project that the anonymous team quickly "disappeared" after its release. The release brought a total of 111.1 ETH in revenue (5555 ZT, minting price 0.02ETH). And “0x1d” later received 15 ETH from ZombieToadz.
6 ETH This income comes from an address that deployed multiple garbage coins and NFT projects in a short period of time, including MoonToken and DeezToken. One thing these Tokens have in common is that they have not had any transactions for a few weeks.
And Yuta/YYYY was forced to resign on February 2, 2022 because he was suspected of participating in rug. In the fall of 2021, he participated in a large number of various NFT garbage projects, including FUD Farm, Anonymice derivatives, etc. Yuta/YYYY transferred 14 ETH to JC's address on October 2 last year.
I reached out to Treasure team members to check if they had details about JC. But they argued that the team couldn't track everyone's background in depth, and that JC was only hired as a front-end developer.
While this statement is true, it is clear to me that JC's involvement in these projects is actually deeper. Think about it, how could a basic front-end development contract cost 135 ETH?
Today, the TreasureDAO team also responded in Discord, roughly saying: When OG members run away with money after mint, our project will not "fail".
But to be honest, this kind of event damages the entire NFT space. Hopefully the members of TreasureDAO will unite and act accordingly.
Finally some materials used in my research are given:
