As May is approaching, we are here to summarize the progress made by the project in April and the planning for May with the community.

Since the release of our last product at the end of March, both the DeFi market size and the DAOventures project have achieved rapid development. The market cap of DeFi has reached $100 billion.

DAOventures has had a pretty good update on product, exchange and team growth. The most notable events include

Product UI update

Product: new platform investment strategy

The DAO Citadel Vault

The strategy, called Castle Vault, is a market-weighted index, but with modern twists. Crypto-Twitter often refers to the fictional promised land that will be called the "Citadel" in the not-too-distant future. The meme is based on a Reddit post written by a time traveler, supposedly from 2025, who went back in time to 2013 to inform Bitcoiners of what a future utopia might look like. If you have bitcoins, you can enter the castle. If you don't have one, sorry you can't get in. This strategy is intended to be your passport into the castle!

Harvest Farmer (Harvest-Farmer)

Harvest-Farmer is a yield aggregation platform based on Harvest Finance products.

The operation process is:

Users deposit tokens into the Harvest Finance strategy
The platform automatically mortgages the fAsset (LP token) they received to obtain FARM
When withdrawing funds, Harvest-Farmer will sell the obtained FARM in the secondary market
Users receive the principal and interest, as well as the additional proceeds from the sale of FARM in the secondary market

Thereby increasing the final total amount obtained by the user.

Compound Farmer (Compound-Farmer)

Compound-Farmer is a strategy based on the Compound lending platform. This strategy allows you to make good use of idle tokens to generate income.

The operation process is:

User deposits tokens into Compound policy
When withdrawing, Compound-Farmer will sell the obtained COMP in the secondary market
Users receive the principal and interest, as well as the additional proceeds from the sale of COMP in the secondary market

Yearn-Farmer is a strategy based on the Yearn Finance smart pool. This strategy allows users to adjust the number of tokens invested between Year Earn and Vault according to their own risk level.

Recently, the DAOventures platform has had several user interface improvements for desktop and mobile versions. The new UI looks cleaner and makes it easier for users to find information such as APY/rewards.

As our project gained traction, team members were invited to speak at multiple conferences and events, sharing our opinion and introducing DAOventure.

Odaily: Belinda, co-founder of DAOventures in China, joined Dodo, dYdX, Stone, ForTube, Axia8 venture capital firm and PAnews media company to discuss the DeFi trend and what role DAOventures will play in the development of DeFi.

Belinda Zhou mentioned in the sharing that DeFi is not considered a midfielder in the early stage. Among them, the track I am particularly optimistic about is aggregated asset management. I think it will be a good entry point to bring DeFi out of the circle, allowing users to be very View assets as easily as viewing an app. According to the previous survey of large institutions and users in the circle by Binance Research Institute, less than 10% of them have used DeFi, so even people in the industry are not very suitable for interacting and managing funds on the chain. The reason boils down to poor user experience - not knowing how to use it and being afraid of making mistakes. If there is an asset management platform in the market that can lower the threshold for Xiaobai to use, has a good user experience, and has a front-end interface that is as simple as an ordinary APP, and can act as a cryptocurrency fund manager to help users do one-stop DeFi investment, I think this will break the circle of DeFi. Such an aggregate asset management application will automatically help users obtain income, which is what our DAOventures is doing.
