Odaily News The FBI will launch a new investigation into the discovery of cocaine in the White House during Biden's term in 2023 and the leak of a draft opinion that overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, a senior official announced Monday. FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, a right-wing podcaster, announced the news on social media, saying he requested weekly updates on the case. Both incidents have been hot topics on the American right. Two years ago, a small bag of cocaine was found in a cubicle near the entrance to the West Wing of the White House, prompting sneers from Republicans, with Trump, then a Republican presidential candidate, saying the drugs could not have belonged to anyone other than Biden and his son Hunter, even though the Bidens were not in Washington at the time. On May 2, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court's draft opinion on Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization was made public, showing that Roe v. Wade would be overturned and the constitutional right to abortion would be terminated. The leaks have prompted condemnation from Trump, who called the leakers "sludge" and called for the journalists involved to be thrown in jail until they reveal who the leakers are. Bongino previously claimed, without providing any evidence, that whistleblowers told him they suspected evidence of bags of cocaine in the White House might match a member of Biden's inner circle.
