Odaily News Bitlayer, a project based on the BitVM technology of the Bitcoin ecosystem, announced a partnership with Sui. The two parties will jointly implement the deployment of the trust-minimized BTC bridge solution BitVM Bridge, and promote the integration and adoption of BitVM Bridge's core component Peg-BTC (YBTC) in the Sui ecosystem.
With the launch of Peg-BTC (YBTC), users will be able to explore diversified DeFi scenarios such as exchange, lending and staking of this asset on the Sui network. This cooperation also marks a key progress in the multi-chain ecological layout of BitVM Bridge. As a BTCFi infrastructure built on BitVM, BitVM Bridge has now established cooperation with 7 mainstream public chains and protocols such as Sui, Base, Starknet, Arbitrum, Sonic, Plume Network and Sundial. BitVM Bridge has entered the final testing phase and is expected to launch the mainnet in the near future.
