BlackRock meets with SEC cryptocurrency panel to discuss collateral and options on crypto ETFs

Odaily News According to the minutes of the relevant meeting, representatives of BlackRock, the world's largest asset management company, met with staff from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Friday to discuss ways to address issues related to crypto asset regulation. The meeting discussed the pledge and options issues of crypto ETFs.
It is reported that Robert Mitchnick, head of digital assets at BlackRock, also attended the meeting. BlackRock representatives discussed "relevant considerations for ETP products that support pledge functions" with the staff of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and discussed parameters such as position calculations and exercise limits for cryptocurrency ETF options, including liquidity thresholds and other issues. In addition, BlackRock also discussed with the SEC the general standards for approving crypto ETFs.
