The cause of the problem was quickly determined, and the client team immediately began to fix it. The problem is specific to Sepolia's testnet configuration and is unlikely to occur on the Ethereum mainnet. At present, the validator has deployed a fix to restore the network to normal throughput. All Sepolia node operators must now upgrade their execution layer clients to maintain network compatibility.
